Examples
On this page you will find examples on how to perform specific tasks with SiteMapper,
along with links to demonstration of the more advanced features.
Scanning a webpage
To load a webpage into SiteMapper, enter the full URL (http-address) in the URL: box.
Click on the Go! button to download the file into the local cache and display
the elements contained in the page.
Scanning a website
Enter the starting URL in the URL: box and click on the Scan button.
This will initiate a download of all pages on the site into the cache.
Once all pages have been scanned, the list is updated to display all
elements found on the site.
Browsing your Internet Favorites
Click on the Favorites button to display all your Internet Favorites in the list.
Deleting and Renaming Internet Favorites
In the Preferences windows (F12), enable the Allow deletion of Internet Favorites option and click on OK. Then click on the Favorites button to display a list of all your Internet Favorites. Highlight a Favorite and press the DEL (Delete) key. SiteMapper now displays the information found in the Internet Favorite, and asks for confirmation before deleting the Internet Favorite. If you answer Yes, the Internet Favorite is deleted.
