DirPlay Current Folder

Start a DirPlay session in the folder that contains the file currently being viewed

Start a DirPlay session in the folder that contains the file currently being viewed.

This function determines the folder that contained the file being viewed by examining the window caption. Part of a windows title usually displays the file name, including the path (if your Explorer does not show the full path, this can be enabled in the Explorer Options).

The folder then becomes the Active Dirplay session, and the first file is opened. By defining other DirPlay hotkeys to use the Active session instead of a predefined DirPlay profile, you can now have one set of hotkeys for navigation, and a different set for starting DirPlay sessions.

For example, create a hotkey to start a DirPlay function on your favorite Internet sites using the desired sorting. Create another hotkey to start a DirPlay session with your favorite music files. Create a hotkey for the DirPlay Current Folder function. Finally, define a set of standard hotkeys for navigation (first, next, etc) using the DirPlay Active session.

When you press the DirPlay Favorites hotkey, you start playing the Internet bookmarks. To navigate around, use the standard DirPlay navigation hotkeys - these will work on whatever DirPlay session you are currently using. To play sound files in the background, simply press your DirPlay Images hotkey, and navigate using the same standard hotkeys.
