Welcome to the online manual for WinMapper!
WinMapper enables you to create keyboard shortcuts (hotkeys) for almost any task.
NOTE - This manual contains screenshots from WinMapper v1.05, using a customized style.
One of the major changes to WinMapper v1.05 was moving the Hotkeys and Aliases windows
to Tabs in the main WinMapper window - please substitute as necessary in the manual when
using an older version. Registered users are notified upon release.
WinMapper is a small tool that gives you further control of your keyboard. You can define
your own keyboard shortcuts, also known as hotkeys, to perform a function.
Create hotkeys for common tasks such as recording and repeating keystrokes, inserting
signatures, launching documents and applications, browse multimedia files, simulate mouse
and keyboard responses, create new emails, switch to a bookmarked window, and more.
WinMapper is an essential tool for Office users, but is also useful to home and game users.
The ability to fully control the Microsoft Windows Key and associated hotkeys is unique to
WinMapper, and enables you to either disable or overwrite the default Windows actions.
WinMapper also enables you to create, edit or remove application aliases, and provides
improved control of Mouse Keys.
