Screenshots - Example 2

In this example we will create a hotkey to open an Internet page (URL).

Open WinMapper and select the File | New | Hotkey menu option.

Enter a short description (Internet in the example) and select the hotkey to use (modifier and key) - our example use Windows as the modifier (default), and the "I" key.

Select the Run category from the drop-down list. The Functions drop-down list is refreshed with the functions in the selected category:

Selec the Start Application function from the Functions drop-down list.

Now enter the Internet address (URL) in the Document: edit field. Please note that this must be a fully qualified URL, meaning it has to start with http:// and be a valid Internet address.

Click on OK to save and activate your new hotkey. From now on, when you press your new hotkey, your default Internet browser is started and begins to load the Internet page.
