Windows key (Start Menu) enabled

If disabled, Windows will not respond on Windows Key press, and the Start Menu will therefore not be activated.

If disabled, Windows will not respond on Windows Key press. This can be very useful when running applications that crash if the Windows key is pressed.

If enabled, Windows will respond when you release the Windows Key and no hotkey was pressed in between.
